Flyers select F-Tye McGinn with the 119th pick in 2010 NHL draft

With the 119th (fourth round)  selection in the 2010 NHL entry draft, the Flyers have selected forward Tye McGinn out of Gatineau in the QMJHL.

McGinn, who stands at 6-foot-2, 195 lbs., is a big scorer that hoarded points (27 goals and 35 assists in just 50 games) in the 2010 season. Named the CHL player of the week in early Jan., McGinn tends to have a knack for scoring big goals.

McGinn also comes with a rough side.  Accompanied with his scoring touch, the winger doesn’t shy away from dropping the gloves.
