I’ll try to keep this joke free.
According to the AP, the Pittsburgh Penguins are looking for 250 student volunteers to simultaneous flush all the toilets and urinals in the brand new Consol Energy Center, which is set to open in 2010-11.
“Construction is near completion on the Penguins’ new arena, the Consol Energy Center. But like with any new arena or stadium, officials need to simultaneously flush all the toilets and urinals to make sure everything is working.”
A successful giant flush, set to happen on June 10, is a milestone in the completion of the C.E Center which is replacing legendary Mellon Arena, which stands idle across the street.
No word yet on if the Penguins will record and use the flush sound as the musical backdrop to the team’s 2001-05 ‘seasons to forget’ montage.
Sorry, couldn’t do it.
