During the season ticket holder conference held by the Flyers Monday night, Flyers’ President Peter Luukko told the group what they wanted to hear about the new 70’s style orange alternative jerseys — they will be sticking around.
According to first-person accounts, Luukko expressed his like for the jerseys and explained that the Flyers will be wearing them during every home game throughout the 2008-09 playoffs. The orange alternative will replace the current black home jersey to become the new home threads next season.
