Flyers set to release new orange jersey

Finally, after months of speculation and patience, the Flyers officially release their new alternate, orange throwback jersey, Tuesday, Nov. 18 at a Meet the Flyers promotionally event for season ticket holders.  The jerseys will go on sale to the public Wednesday, Nov. 19, at philadelphiaflyers.com.  On Black Friday, Nov. 28, Flyers’ fans will be able to purchase the jersey in person at the Wachovia Center starting at 7 A.M.  Although its labeled as the third jersey this season, the new orange will eventually take the place of the much maligned black jersey, as the team’s home color in upcoming seasons.
