Report: Flyers and Carter may have a deal.

It is being reported by anonymous sources with connections inside the organization, that Carter, Holmgren and Carter’s agent sat down Thursday evening and hashed out a deal to extend the restricted free agent’s contract. The terms have not been disclosed but the number was reported as “lower than expected.” If this news is true the deal will be announced closer to the June 20th entry draft, when both sides were reported by Eklund of hockeybuzz.com to be meeting.
